- CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY -

Artery requires suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country and region in which they operate, as a prerequisite for cooperation with Artery. Da Ao encourages suppliers to adopt internationally recognized industry standards and practices to continuously improve their CSR management level.


This guideline applies to all suppliers who provide products or services to the main artery.


This guideline consists of five parts: working conditions and human rights, health and safety, business ethics, environmental protection, and management system requirements.


1、 Working conditions and human rights


1. Free career choice

Suppliers should respect employees' right to freely choose their jobs and not force them to engage in compulsory labor or engage in unpaid compulsory labor (including debt compensation work, compulsory detention, and enslavement work).


2. Child labor and underage labor

Suppliers shall comply with all applicable local and national laws and regulations regarding working age, and shall not use child labor or allow underage workers to engage in work that may endanger their health or safety.


3. Working hours

Suppliers should comply with local laws and regulations, and all overtime must be voluntary.


4. Salary and benefits

The salary and corresponding benefits paid by suppliers to employees should comply with relevant local laws and regulations.


5. Humane treatment

Suppliers are not allowed to use violence, engage in illegal or heterosexual body searches, or threaten to engage in such behavior.


6. Freedom of association

Suppliers should respect the rights of all employees to voluntarily form, join trade unions, engage in collective bargaining and peaceful gatherings, and refuse to participate in such activities.


7. Prevention of harassment

ppliers should establish an effective labor communication mechanism and regularly communicate with employees or employee representatives. Employees do not need to worry about being discriminated against, retaliated against, threatened or harassed.


8. Non discrimination

Suppliers shall not discriminate against employees in employment, salary, promotion, or other employment practices based on race, skin color, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, disability, pregnancy, etc.


2、 Health and Safety

1. Working conditions


1.1. Suppliers shall obtain, maintain, and update all necessary health and safety permits, and comply with the relevant provisions of these permits.

1.2. Personal protective equipment: Suppliers should provide appropriate personal protection and protective equipment to ensure the personal safety of employees.

1.3. Safety of Machinery and Equipment: Suppliers should provide appropriate measures or means for machine protection (such as grating protection) to eliminate or reduce risks.

1.4. Suppliers should develop necessary procedures and systems, and implement corrective measures to eliminate the impact and help employees return to work.

1.5. Suppliers should provide appropriate health and safety training to employees in local languages.


2. Living conditions

Suppliers should provide employees with clean bathroom facilities, drinking water, and other living conditions.


3. Emergency preparedness

Suppliers should identify and evaluate potential emergency situations and implement emergency plans to minimize their impact.


4. Accidents and accident management

Establish an accident management and handling mechanism, allocate corresponding resources, and carry out accident handling procedures in an orderly manner when accidents occur.


5. Handling Chemicals

Suppliers should identify and evaluate environmental factors, establish safety management regulations for chemical loading and unloading operations, and carry out chemical loading and unloading, handling, and storage in accordance with the regulations.


3、 Business ethics


1. Corruption, extortion, bribery

Suppliers are prohibited from engaging in corruption and dishonesty, and all extortion and bribery activities are prohibited.


2. Privacy protection and data security

Suppliers should promise to protect reasonable privacy expectations for the personal information of all business related personnel. Suppliers should comply with relevant local laws and regulations when collecting, storing, processing, transmitting, and sharing personal information and data.


3. Fair Trade and Anti Monopoly

We should uphold the standards of fair trade, advertising, and competition. Protect customer information and comply with national antitrust laws.


4. Conflict of Interest

Suppliers should avoid any form of business relationship between stakeholders and the company.


5. Reporting and Preventing Retaliation

The supplier shall establish procedures to protect the anonymity of informants. Communication procedures should be established to allow employees to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.


4、 Environmental protection


1. Environmental permits and reports

Suppliers should obtain, maintain, and update all necessary environmental permits (such as emission monitoring), approval documents, and registration certificates, and comply with their operational and reporting requirements.


2. Water quality and consumption

Suppliers should take conservation and alternative measures to reduce consumption of energy, water, and natural resources, in order to reduce greenhouse gas and wastewater emissions.


3. Air quality

Suppliers should comply with emission standards and monitor air quality during exhaust emissions. The emitted air particulate matter and chemical composition values should comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards for pollutants.


4. Sustainable management and waste reduction

Suppliers should reduce or eliminate the generation and emissions of pollution from the source, prohibit illegal discharge of toxic and harmful pollutants, and reduce noise pollution.


5. Responsible chemical management

Suppliers should identify and evaluate environmental factors, establish chemical management measures, and effectively control chemicals, ensuring that they are not released, leaked, or discharged in violation of regulations.


5、 Management System Requirements


1. Company commitments and management responsibilities

Supplier senior management shall issue a corporate social responsibility policy statement in the local language, promising to comply with applicable laws and regulations, meet customer requirements, comply with the requirements of this code, and continuously improve.

Suppliers should clearly designate a senior manager responsible for corporate social responsibility, identifying and controlling risks, conducting regular internal audits and management reviews, establishing an internal assessment and accountability mechanism, and promoting continuous improvement.


2. Risk assessment and risk management

Suppliers identify corporate social responsibility risks and potential impacts related to their operations in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements (including the requirements of this guideline), and implement appropriate procedures and substantive control measures based on the relative importance of the risks to control and reduce risks and eliminate impacts.
